Red/Black← Back

Rules

  1. Each player is dealt 5 cards from a shared 52-card deck (26 red, 26 black, no suits or numbers).
  2. Privately set the order of your deck. Top card has highest priority - it is the first card turned up during a reveal.
  3. The starting player bids a color and a count, e.g. “3 red”.
  4. The next player either raises (same color, count + 1 or more) or calls Challenge.
  5. On a challenge, the most recent bidder must reveal that many cards of the bid color by flipping cards from the top of any player’s deck - switching decks freely.
  6. If a flipped card is the wrong color, the bidder loses. If they reach the count, the challenger loses.
  7. The loser secretly chooses one card to discard. Run out of cards and you’re eliminated.
  8. The last player standing wins.
