Tutorial

Watch a round play out, play one yourself, then pull off a bluff. About five minutes at a four-handed table, and the last hand is yours to finish.

The rules

The deck26 red, 26 black. Suits and numbers do not exist. Everyone is dealt 5 and never draws again.
Set your orderEach round you privately order your own deck. Your first card is the first one anyone turns up.
BidA count and a color, claiming that many cards of it are on the table - across every deck, not just yours.
Raise or challengeOn your turn you must do one or the other. A raise keeps the color and lifts the count. You can never pass.
The revealThe challenged bidder turns cards up off the top of any deck. Reach the count and the challenger loses. Hit the other color first and the bidder loses.
DiscardThe loser secretly drops one card. Run out of cards and you are eliminated. Last player holding cards wins.
Face downRanked is played from memory: you see your own deck while you set your order, then it goes face down for the bidding and the reveal, and comes back up if you have to discard. Friendly games and the tutorial are the ones that leave it face up throughout.
The clockRanked turns are 15 seconds, with a 60-second reserve behind them. A friendly host picks 30, 15 or 10 seconds a turn, or no clock at all.
